What it is

QuantRank500 is a free, open-source platform that records stock predictions before the market opens and settles them against actual exchange trade records. Every prediction is timestamped, immutable, and settled automatically. No one reports their own results.

Everyone competes with the same simulated stake: the $500 account.

The rules

PredictionsOne per day. Long only.
Eligible stocksAny US stock: price $3 or more, $1M+ daily dollar volume.
Holding periodThree trading days, maximum.
Minimum target8.5% above entry.
The $500 accountEveryone starts with the same stake.
Position sizeOne third of your account balance, at fill.
Cutoff8:00 PM ET the prior trading day.

How it works

Lock a prediction tonight. It becomes a limit order at tomorrow's open. The market fills it — or it expires unfilled. Both are recorded. Overnight, once the exchange's records for the session are published, the platform replays them and settles every open prediction — results appear by early the next morning. After 33 settled predictions, you appear on the scoreboard.

The Quarterly 500

Each calendar quarter is a separate challenge: everyone re-enters at $500, balances count only that quarter's settlements, and the highest quarter-end balance wins. At least 10 settled predictions in the quarter to appear. No prizes — the balance is the trophy. Ruin is never permanent: next quarter is a fresh $500, and lifetime records never reset.

The value

For those who predict — a free, timestamped, verifiable record. For those who evaluate — every settlement independently re-verifiable from public data. For those who watch — today's signals, provably locked before the open. For everyone — nothing is hidden: the full record of every prediction and settlement is public, and the code that produced it is open source.

What it is not

No accounts required. No emails. No notifications. No ads. No data sales. A public record. Nothing more.

Settled against exchange trade records (tick data; 1-minute bars as documented fallback). Actual execution prices may differ due to spread, commissions, and fill timing. QuantRank500 verifies predictions, not executions.

Why this exists — the story: an 84% win rate and still losing money.
